Mildred “Millie” Aida Van Etten Frost, age 97, left this life on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

She was born on April 3, 1927 in Manhattan, New York where she spent her early years. She is predeceased by her husband Col. John “Jack” R. Frost, her parents Olga Witter and Wallace Van Etten; brothers, Wallace Jr., Donald and Howard Van Etten and son-in-law, Gregg Olson.

She is survived by her son, Curt Schwalbach (Diane); daughter, Debbie Olson; step-sons John Frost and James Frost (Philomena); grandchildren, Taylor Schwalbach (Olivia), Garrett Schwalbach (Alexandra), Courtney Shifflett (Clay), Chris Olson (Kathy), Michael Olson, Jaimie McDonald (Jonathan), Kerrie Sumair (Amit), Annamarie and Claire Frost; great-grandchildren Olivia and Gregory Olson and Lyla and Ben Schwalbach; nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved to travel and continued to do so into her 90s. Her favorite place was Hawaii which she visited multiple times. She was also very generous, donating to many charities that were dear to her heart.

She will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery with her husband, Jack.
