STAUNTON, VA (Rocktown Now) — There has been a change in leadership at Mary Baldwin University.

In a letter sent to the Mary Baldwin community, Eloise Chandler and Constance Dierickx, co-chairs of the school’s board of trustees, confirmed that Jeff Stein resigned Tuesday as president of the Staunton university.

The board accepted the resignation and then named Dr. Todd Telemeco as the 11th president of Mary Baldwin University, effective immediately.

Stein had held the position of president for two years, succeeding Pamela Fox after her retirement in 2023.

Meanwhile, Dr. Telemeco has served as vice president and dean of the University’s Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences since July of 2023.
