PAGE COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – One of the two Hopewell men charged with abducting a woman outside Luray Caverns last year has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Online records showed that Travis Matthew Hogan reached a plea deal with prosecutors during a hearing Wednesday morning in Page County Circuit Court. Hogan pleaded guilty to three of the five charges he faced, including abduction by force/intimidation.
A judge then sentenced him to nine years in prison with six of those years suspended.
The other suspect, Sean Gregory Jarrett, had his plea hearing continued until August 8.
According to Luray Police, the two men forced a woman into a vehicle parked outside the Caverns back on November 12. She was eventually released uninjured.
