Louise Blanche Seal Ferrell, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 29th, 2024. She was born on December 21st, 1940 to the late Wilmer and Goldie Seal.

 

Louise was a graduate of Elkton High School, class of 1960. She worked at Alliance until becoming a full-time homemaker. On February 1st, 1964, she married Clifton lrving Ferrell who survives. They shared 60 beautiful wedded years together.

 

Louise was a wonderful Wife, Mother, and Mawmaw. She tended a large garden every year, and enjoyed canning the vegetables of her labor, she also kept the most beautiful flower gardens where there wasn’t a weed to be found. She loved rocking and always had a grandbaby or a cat on her lap.

 

She was a lifelong member of the Furnace Church where she attended faithfully. Louise is survived by her four children, Susan (Ronnie) Merica, Nancy (Greg) Berry, Michele Ferrell, and Michael (Lora) Ferrell. Her eight grandchildren, Whitney Merica (Tyler), Brianna Berry, Savannah Gentry (Casey), Tyler Berry, Michael Ferrell II, Maggie Anderson (Matthew), Ronnie Merica II (Lauren), Noah Ferrell (Diamond). Six Great Grandchildren, Kendall, Peyton, Xander, Landon, Huxley, and one baby on the way.

 

Also surviving are five siblings, Frances Templon, Robert Seal, Richard Seal, Genieve Breeden, and Elaine Conley.

 

She was preceded in death by a Great Grandbaby, brother Lester O. Seal, and two sister-in-laws, Belva Johnson and Mabel Ferrell.
