Lori Ann Turner Good, 50, of Elkton, Virginia, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at her home. She was born February 22, 1974 in Harrisonburg, Virginia and was the daughter of Larry Wayne Turner and the late Bonnie Sue McDaniel Turner.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brittany Good.

Lori attended Spotswood High School and was a longtime attendee of Elkton Free Will Baptist Church. She loved being around children especially while working as a teacher’s assistant as well as a substitute in Rockingham County Public Schools. She was most proud of being a Mother and a MeMe.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her companion, Douglas “Smokey” May; six children, Amber May and companion Kenny, Derrick May and wife, Candace, Hailey Shifflett and husband, Casey “Jay,” Michael “Mikey” Good, Jr., Matthew Good, and McKenna May; a sister, Crissy Lynn Lam; a special niece, McKayla Lam; 11 grandchildren, Addyson Wyant, Zachary May, Rhylen May, Mason Shifflett, CallyAnn Wyant, Karson May, Kenleigh Sackett, Madalynn Shifflett, Raelyn Sackett, Asher Shifflett, and Linkan May.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024, at Elkton Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Billy King officiating. Burial to follow at McAllister Cemetery in Comertown.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
