VERONA, VA (Rocktown Now) – A local Crime Prevention Officer is stepping away from the position to pursue new opportunities within the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office.
In an open letter to the community, Sergeant Joshua Graves expressed gratitude for residents’ trust and willingness to work alongside him in his efforts to improve communication and resolve area concerns in his six years as Crime Sergeant.
Without disclosing his new role, Graves promised to remain focused on strengthening community relationships, addressing public safety concerns, and helping other deputies carry forward the mission of service and connection.
Sergeant Ryan Chandler was announced to succeed Graves as Crime Prevention Officer.
