ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Timberville man who was involved in a 19-hour standoff with police was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Joshua Ryan Litten, 39, pleaded guilty back in April to 14 charges related to the incident that occurred on December 6, 2022, at Perry Trailer Park Road near Mount Jackson.
A Shenandoah County Circuit Court judge then sentenced the Litten to 66 years in prison during a hearing Monday morning. However, 41 of those years were suspended.
He was also sentenced to five years of supervised probation upon his release and ordered to pay over $7,300 in costs and restitution.
