Lillie Madeline Doyle Berry, 92, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Staunton, VA. She was born March 5, 1932 in Harriston, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Willie Doyle and Minnie Sampson Doyle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings Earl Berry; brother, Frank Doyle; sisters, Mildred Higgs, Helen Cole, Dorothy Watling; grandchild, Rachel Good.

Lillie was a faithful member of the Elkton Pentecostal Church for many years. She loved her church and her God. She also enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, birdwatching and puzzles. Lillie

greatly enjoyed her family, friends, and all of her visitors. She will be extremely missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Brown and husband Mike of Staunton, VA; sons; Tim Berry and wife, Lou of Elkton, VA; Steven Berry of Harrisonburg, VA; brothers, Carl “John” Doyle, Earl “Windy” Doyle; grandchildren, Adam Good, Caleb Berry, Megan Morello, Scott Liskey, Julia Liskey; great-grandchildren, Jessica Good, Jacob Good, Damian Good, Chance Good, Kahli Harman, Addison Smith, Mason Miller; great-great grandchildren, Walter Farnholtz, IV, Elliot Farnholtz, Penelope Farnholtz, Ariella Smith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Elkton Pentecostal Church with Pastor Eddie Byers and Gene Kite officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Run Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 6-8 p.m., at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, VA.
