HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Round-the-clock work on a busy intersection in Harrisonburg will stifle traffic for the first half of the week.

Public Works says road work will take place at the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Mt Clinton Pike today through Wednesday, weather permitting.

Daytime work will take place from 7 to 3:30, and overnight, different traffic patterns will be in place including lane closures.

Officials advise trucks drivers to use alternative routes, and all drivers should expect delays.
