Joyce “Candi” Berry Davis, 75, of Elkton, went to be with the Lord and begin her eternal life on November 1, 2024. Candi was born on July 11, 1949 in Elkton, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Raymond “Johnny” Berry and Joyce Shifflett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Berry Bowman.

Candi was born in Sandy Bottom. She was raised there and has lived her entire life in Elkton. She attended Elkton High School where she enjoyed playing basketball as #15. She graduated in 1967. In her early career, she was employed by Alliance Manufacturing and Amp/Tyco for several years. Later, she became a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician and worked in long-term care pharmacy for 18 years.

On December 20, 1974, Candi married Jeffry Alan Davis.

In addition to Jeffry, she is survived by their daughter, Dana Lynn Davis; her beloved fur babies, “Zippy”, “Sadie”, “Rocky”, and “Turtle”; special girl, Serenity; numerous nieces and nephews.

Candi was a very special person and a blessing to everyone who knew her. She possessed the most kind and gentle soul. She loved God, her family, her fur babies and her friends with all of her heart. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts. We will cherish, miss and love her until we meet again in Heaven, to be together for eternity.

In keeping with the families wishes, all services will be private.
