HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Harrisonburg Department of Public Transportation has announced that the James Madison University summer shuttles will not operate on Wednesday due to the Juneteenth holiday.

Officials did say that City Routes will still operate on their regular Extended Hours schedule, which includes from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday, which means banks, post offices and government offices will be closed on Wednesday.
