HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – James Madison University is going to be recognized for its Virginia Pollinator-Smart Solar certification.

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, Department of Environmental Quality and Department of Wildlife Resources will recognize the school next week during a presentation.

JMU is the first university in the state to earn a Virginia Pollinator-Smart Program certification.

The presentation will be on Wednesday morning at the east campus solar facility in front of King Hall.
