HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – James Madison University officials are investigating a fraternity who allegedly used Nazi salutes and yelled anti LGBTQ+ slurs.

According to a Facebook post, current residents of the former Crayola house, the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, on Old South High Street were allegedly doing that.

After they did not stop that behavior when confronted, a letter was written to the fraternity stating that Harrisonburg is the Friendly City and does not tolerate hate speech.

Rocktown Now reached out to the individual who posted on Facebook, and he stated that it is his hope that the school and fraternity take this matter seriously.

Meanwhile, Chad Saylor, JMU Associate Director of Media Relations, stated in an email that university officials are aware of the allegations and are thoroughly investigating.
