HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Rockingham County Circuit Court is partnering with James Madison University for a course exploring the county’s history that will be open to residents over 50 years old.
That’s according to a Facebook post from Circuit Court Clerk Chaz Haywood. The course, titled “Roots Revealed: Local History in Rockingham County” will be offered through JMU’s Lifelong Learning Institute and will be taught by Deputy Clerk Megan Pullen.
Those interested in the course, and others offered through the Lifelong Learning Institute, can learn more at the LLI’s open house next Monday, August 5, at the Festival Student and Conference Center on JMU’s Campus.
