Jeffrey Allen Wyant, 67, of Elkton, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Jeffrey was born September 24, 1956 in Rockingham County to Geraldine Breeden Wyant of Elkton, and the late Dallas Wyant.
In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Turner.
He grew up near Elkton and loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed water skiing, watching wrestling and old western movies. He was a member of the Naked Creek Baptist Church, and owned and operated a concrete and construction company. Later he was a superintendent at Faulconer Construction Company in Charlottesville. He was a devoted husband and son, an amazing dad, grandad and great-grandad and brother, who loved spending time with his family.
On March 28, 1986, he married Rebecca Ann (Turner) Wyant who survives. Also surviving are daughters, Jamie Wyant, Tiffany Wyant, April Turner and husband, Chris Hampton; sons, Timmy Turner and wife, Elizabeth, Shannon Meadows and fiancée Jodi; brother, Carroll Wyant and wife, Toni; sisters, Phyllis Dean and husband, Robin, Patricia Foltz and husband, Scott; a very special nephew, Frankie Wyant and wife, Crystal; 18 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton with Pastor Dan Bassett officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Run Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening, June 24, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton.
