HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – James Madison University announced this week that Bob Kolvoord has been appointed as the university’s interim provost.

The move comes following the recent resignation of Provost Heather Coltman.

Kolvoord has worked at JMU for nearly 30 years in several different positions, including serving as a professor and the founding dean of the College of Integrated Science and Engineering. Kolvoord currently serves as dean of the College of Integrated Science and Engineering.
