HARRISONBURG, Va. (JMU Athletics) – James Madison wraps up spring football practice on Saturday, April 12 when it hosts the 2025 Spring Game, presented by Duke’s Mayo, at Bridgeforth Stadium.  The game will be broadcast on the JMU Radio Network (92.1 FM | 550 AM) and online at RocktownNow.com.

Kickoff is slated for a 1:30 p.m. start, and admission is free for all spectators. Fans are encouraged to enter through Gates B, which opens at 1 p.m. Gate A will also be an additional entry point. General parking is available in the Champions Deck, and tailgating will be available in Lots P, F and G beginning at 9 a.m.

Though JMU’s walkthrough metal detectors and clear-bag policy will not be in effect, there will be a bag check station at all entrances.

The 2025 Spring Game will be played with four quarters, all with a running clock-format. The first quarter will be 15 minutes while the second through fourth quarters will be 10 minutes long. The final two minutes of each half will be conducted as a two-minute drill. Halftime will be 10 minutes long, as the Marching Royal Dukes will perform during the break. There will also be compete periods during the game.

The teams will feature offense (white jersey) versus defense (purple jersey). This year’s Spring Game will also mimic last year’s scoring system.

Offense can accumulate points through normal scoring methods:
• Touchdown – 6
• PAT/Extra Point – 1
• 2-Point Conversion – 2
• Field Goal – 3

Defense earns points based on stops, turnovers and defensive scores:
• Forced Punt – 1
• Missed Field Goal – 1
• Sack – 2
• Three-and-Out – 3
• Turnover Forced – 5
• Defensive Touchdown – 10

Concessions and alcohol sales will be available on the lower concourse through the conclusion of the third quarter.

Following the game, fans are invited onto the game field for post-game meet-and-greet with coaches and players.
