Boys & Girls Club of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County

The Boys & Girls Club of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County is a youth development program for youth ages 5-18 years old. The program is before and after school and for full days for 8 weeks during the summer.

There are seven clubs at six locations in the area–three in Rockingham County and three in Harrisonburg. In total, the clubs serve over 900 youth each year.

Providing Places, People, and Programs

Places: A safe place to learn and grow where youth safety is the #1 priority. Staff and volunteers undergo criminal background checks and mandatory abuse and neglect training.

People: Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, including mentoring

Programs: Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences. Programming is continually being improved to assist members in development and growth.
