ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The man Page County authorities say was responsible for a homicide in Elkton more than a year ago was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning.

Timothy Thomas Comer was supposed to have a status hearing to appoint council; however online records showed that it was continued until Nov. 22 in the Circuit Court.

Comer faces seven felony charges, including first-degree murder, in connection with the shooting death Gregory Lee Williams, 69, in the Jollet Road area on June 29 of last year.

He was arrested on July 13 after a two-week manhunt involving local, state and federal authorities.
