HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance will announce the live music lineup for this year’s Levitt AMP Music Series on Wednesday at 7 p.m., followed by a free concert from one of last year’s performers.

Küf Knotz & Christine Elise – a hip hop, soul, and new age duo – performed as part of Harrisonburg’s inaugural Levitt AMP series last summer and will return to perform for Wednesday night’s event. The duo formed in 2018 and have been performing around the country since, combining the harp with 90s beats.

The event will be an opportunity to celebrate the upcoming season AMP Harrisonburg Music Series. In addition to being among the first to learn about this summer’s lineup of performers, attendees will also be able to learn about volunteer and non-profit opportunities.

In a press release, HDR Executive Andrea Dono said the concert series was launched to strengthen the social fabric of the Friendly City’s community.

“There is no better way to get people excited about our 2024 series than by announcing our lineup and hosting a free concert with one of last year’s favorite performers,” Dono said.

The Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Music Series is a free, 10-week concert series in Downtown Harrisonburg, on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m., from June 26 through September 11. These free, live concerts showcase nationally touring bands and artists of all different genres and provide the perfect opportunity for Harrisonburg and the surrounding communities to come together and enjoy the warmer evenings with free, family-friendly entertainment.

The series is supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, which partners with changemakers and nonprofits across the country to activate underused outdoor spaces through the power of free, live music.

More information about this series is available on the official Levitt AMP Harrisonburg Music Series website, AMPHburg.com.
