WEYERS CAVE, VA (Rocktown Now) — Hazmat crews are at an incident involving hazardous material in the Weyers Cave area.

The incident happened shortly after 2:00 PM in the Triangle Drive area and a shelter in place has been issued for a two-mile radius.

That includes Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC), which will close at 3:00 PM. BRCC announced that all classes and meetings scheduled to begin at or after 3:00 PM are cancelled.
