HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Harrisonburg city residents who aren’t able to catch the bus later in the evenings will get their chance this summer.
The city of Harrisonburg announced Wednesday that from Monday, May 13, through Saturday, August 10, the Department of Public Transportation will be testing extended service hours for the City Routes.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, the temporary program will have all City Routes operate the same hours Monday through Saturday, from 6:30 AM to 9:15 PM.
Currently, city routes are from Monday through Friday from 6:30 to 6:30.
