HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Harrisonburg Social Security office is closed today, August 8, due to staffing issues.

Several signs are posted on the doors to the facility. One sign states that the office has experienced involuntary staffing reassignments that will impact the ability to provide timely service in person or over the phone.
