HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Public Works will be hosting a Stormwater Improvement Plan Open House on May 7 to present feedback from a survey conducted over the past month and also gather more feedback about Harrisonburg residents’ experiences with stormwater situations in the city.
The first session will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers and the second will be 4-6 p.m. at the Pleasant View Inc. Day Program Building.
Brittany Clem-Hott, Public Works Outreach and Communications Specialist, will help the city’s plan move forward while also taking resident’s experiences into consideration. Clem-Hott said the public’s input helps shape the city’s plans for the Stormwater Program as well as local waterways.
