HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Public Works is seeking input from frequent drivers of one of the busiest intersections in the Harrisonburg-Rockingham region.
A public meeting will be held next Thursday, March 6, at Stone Spring Elementary School to discuss a study detailing recommendations for the future of the Port Republic Road–Peach Grove Avenue–Neff Avenue corridor.
New designs will be on display that attempt to calm traffic along one of the area’s most dangerous intersections for crashes and ensure safer biking, walking, and scooter use.
City staff will be available to answer questions between 4 and 6pm.
More details are available at the Harrisonburg Rockingham Metropolitan Planning website here.
