HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Harrisonburg Police released one of the names of the suspects involved in an incident Saturday night in which they were arrested after crashing a vehicle stolen from the Charlottesville area into an occupied Harrisonburg Police Department cruiser.

City Communications Director Mike Parks said in a news release that Diquan Grooms, 18, has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a stolen firearm. He was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

Meanwhile, a 16-year-old suspect has been charged with two counts of felony hit and run, possessing a stolen firearm, felony eluding, felony receiving stolen property and obstruction. His name was not released due to his age.
