HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Harrisonburg Police Department say the suspect in the robbery case, Tevin E. White, has been arrested in Pennsylvania and is awaiting extradition to Harrisonburghas identified the suspect in Thursday’s robbery on South Main Street.
According to Harrisonburg City Communications Director Michael Parks, the suspect was identified as Tevin E. White, 29, from Ama, Louisiana. HPD obtained a felony warrant against White for robbery by force.
White immediately fled the area in a black 2016 Ford Fusion with a Louisiana license plate number 777 FIR.

Friday, April 26 UPDATE: The suspect in Thursday’s robbery has been identified as 29-year-old Tevin E. White from Ama, Louisiana. White immediately fled the area in what is now known to be a black 2016 Ford Fusion with a Louisiana license plate number 777 FIR. HPD has obtained a felony warrant against White for robbery by force. It’s believed that he is no longer in the area and has no direct ties to the Harrisonburg community.

2:45 p.m. UPDATE: HPD is looking for information from the public after a robbery at approximately 12:30 p.m. today in the parking lot of 7-11 at the intersection of South Main Street and Pleasant Valley Road. Anyone with information about the individual pictured should call HPD Det. Spiggle at 540-437-2617. The individual, who was involved in today’s incident, left the scene in a black, four-door Ford sedan (pictured) last seen on Greendale Road with a damaged or missing driver’s side front window. The investigation continues into this incident and more information will be provided when available.
