HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Police and Fire Departments will be participating in a walk-and-talk in the Northeast Neighborhood May 2, between 5pm and 7pm.
Officers and members of the fire department will be visiting community members and they’re reminding those in the Northeast Neighborhood to not be surprised if they come to your door. HPD said in a social media post that they hope residents feel comfortable letting them know what the city and its first responders can do to best support its citizens.
Families can also join them at John Wesley United Methodist Church for free flavored ice and Touch-A-Truck displays.
