HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation is inviting elementary and middle school children and their families to let their creative side show at today’s “Art in the Park” event.

This afternoon, a “Creator Space” session will be held at Morrison Park where kids can pick from provided supplies and create whatever they can imagine.

The session is part of Harrisonburg’s observance the National Parks and Recreation Month initiative “Build Together, Play Together”

The free art program is 4 to 6 today at Morrison Park between North Willow Street and 2nd Street.
