HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — It’s three years in jail and five years of supervised probation for the Harrisonburg man charged in connection with a shooting earlier this year.
According to online records, Alfred Dale Eppard pled guilty to attempted second degree murder during a hearing this morning in Rockingham County Circuit Court.
A judge then sentenced the 60-year-old Eppard to 10 years in jail with seven of those years suspended.
The charge stemmed from the shooting that happened on February 19th on Peake Mountain Road west of Harrisonburg.
The 58-year-old victim was taken to UVA Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
