HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — A Harrisonburg man will spend the next five years of his life behind bars after admitting to committing a sex crime nearly two years ago.

According to online records, Ethan Wayne Knight pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated sexual battery of an incapacitated person during a Tuesday hearing in Rockingham County Circuit Court.

Knight had been facing two additional charges in the case, including forcible sodomy. However, prosecutors declined to pursue either of those charges.

He was sentenced to 20 years in jail, with 15 of those years suspended by a judge.
