HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Harrisonburg man who was involved in a standoff with police earlier this year has had his probation revoked and will spend nearly 9 years in jail.
Sean Barb had a hearing Monday morning in Rockingham County Circuit Court and according to online records, a judge revoked his probation and sentenced the 38-year-old Barb to a total of eight years and nine months in prison.
Barb was wanted on three circuit court capiases when Harrisonburg Police received information on April 21st that he was at a home on Ridgeville Lane.
When officers arrived to serve a warrant, Barb barricaded himself with a firearm in the basement
A shelter-in-place order was issued for the area while negotiations took place but was lifted once Barb was safely removed from the home.
