HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – The Harrisonburg man accused of robbing the Tobacco Hut and Vape Shop last fall will appear before a grand jury.

According to online records, Alex Warble had the three felony charges he faces certified to a grand jury during a preliminary hearing this morning in general district court.

One of those charges is armed robbery.

Harrisonburg Police say the 27-year-old Warble entered the store on South Main Street last October 13th, brandished a firearm and demanded cash from the business.

He fled the scene before officers arrived but was arrested three days later at his home on South Avenue, and he remains in custody.
