HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg High School announced that Brandon Mays has been selected as Head Football Coach, pending School Board approval, and will lead the Blue Streaks beginning with the 2026 season. Since 2019, he has served as the Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator for Broadway High School’s football program. Mays received his bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater College, where he also played football.

According to a release, Coach Mays is a dynamic educator who is adept at aligning vision, culture, and operations to elevate programs and support long-term success. He is skilled in creating structured systems and fostering positive, team-oriented environments.
