HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Harrisonburg Farmers Market invites the community to join in celebrating the season at its Harvest Fest on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. This family-friendly event marks the end of the harvest season with activities, games, food, and live music.
For the second year, the Farmers Market is partnering with students from James Madison University’s Sport and Recreation Management program, giving them hands-on experience in event planning and execution.

“We’re excited to celebrate the harvest with our community while also supporting JMU students in learning how to create fun, engaging events,” Market Manager Halee Jones, said in a news release. “It’s a great way to bring everyone together for a day filled with food, fun, and connection.”
