HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The City of Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, and the Harrisonburg Rockingham Metropolitan Planning Organization are asking for the public’s help conducting a joint transportation study.

Residents who regularly travel the 1.4-mile segment of Vine Street between Route 33 and Route 11 are asked to share experiences by filling out the study’s survey at PublicInput.com/VineStreet.

The primary objective of the study is to evaluate safety and operational needs for all users of the corridor and develop improvement recommendations to address identified needs.

Final study recommendations will be considered by the city for advancement through state transportation funding programs.
