HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg City offices will be closed on Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Therefore, the trash, recycling, and bulk/yard services schedule will change.

City officials say trash that is normally collected on Mondays will be collected on Tuesday. Since there will be a double trash day, there will be no bulk and yard debris pickup on Monday.

The Recycling Convenience Center and Recycling Mobile Unit will also be closed on Monday.
