HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – The City of Harrisonburg’s government offices will be closed and area trash collection delayed in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Refuse normally collected on Thursdays will be picked up with Friday’s trash on December 26th.

Residents are asked to hold bulk and yard debris until the new scheduling system begins on January 5th, as there will be no collection service on Christmas Eve.

Additionally, both the Recycling Convenience Center and the Recycling Mobile Unit will be closed Wednesday and Thursday of this week, with no cardboard collection this Friday, December 26th.
