HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Harrisonburg City Council will reintroduce the proposal for the six-story apartment complex to be built in the downtown area known as “The Link” after an error in the public notice before being introduced to the Planning Commission.
Deputy Director of Community Development Thanh (TAHN) Dang explained that the error had caused the notice to not get advertised and they will work to get it corrected.
“What this means for ‘The Link’ as well as the other item that was on that agenda, which was 320 South Main Street, which is the rezoning where most people know where the ‘Green Hummingbird’ had been located,” said Dang. “Both of those items will have to come back and go through Planning Commission and City Council for public hearing.
Dang continued by saying the 320 South Main Street proposal will be presented to the Council on November 12th.
A date for the “The Link” was not released.
