Harold David “H.D” Moyers Jr., 72, a resident of Linville, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Mr. Moyers was born on February 13, 1952 in Rockingham County and was a son of Willie Virginia Carr Moyers of Linville and the late Harold David Moyers Sr.   He was raised in the Linville community and loved working on his farm, playing solitaire and spending time with his grandchildren.   He worked at Walker Manufacturing for 47 years and attended Zion Hill Mennonite Church.

On October 13, 2001, he married Beverly Diane Crawford Moyers who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Darin Moyers of Linville, Karina Showalter and husband James of Rockingham, Eugene Moyers and wife Sarah of Fulks Run; brother, Kenneth Moyers and wife Brenda of Singers Glen; and grandchildren, Dixie and Timber Moyers.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Erma Louise Crider Moyers who passed away on March 31, 1999.
