AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Governor Glenn Youngkin has declared the week of November 17th – November 21st National Crash Responder Safety Week.
Augusta County Fire-Rescue announced on their social media page that they join Governor Youngkin in recognizing first responders and reminding drivers to slow down, move over and staying alert while on the road.
“National Crash Responder Safety Week encourages all Virginians, including drivers and passengers, to understand how to react safely and responsibly when encountering emergency responders and roadway incident scenes,” said Governor Youngkin.
