PAGE COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Free meals are provided by Page County Public Schools for those 18-years-old and younger. This will happen on Tuesdays through Thursdays at different locations until August 21.
Page County Public Schools says there is no pre-registration or ID required and encourages the people to come every week – saying there is no limit to how many children they are able to serve.
Tomorrow’s (June 24) free meal can be picked up at Shenandoah Community Library from 11:30am until 12:00pm, followed by a “Make A Treasure Map!” activity from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the library for ages nine and under.
This week’s menu includes: one chicken quesadilla, one refried bean, seven applesauce cups, 14 chocolate milk boxes, seven cereal bars, one pound of turkey, one pound of shredded mozzarella, one pack of tortillas, six hummus cups and seven fresh fruits.
