FISHERSVILLE, VA (Rocktown Now) – It appears that there are more problems for the former president of Nexus Services.

According to online records, Michael Donovan of Fishersville was arrested after a verbal altercation allegedly turned physical on Saturday.

The 47-year-old Donovan was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery and released on summons. He has a hearing scheduled for March 25th in General District Court.

Interestingly, published reports indicate that the victim of the alleged attack is Zachary Cruz, the brother of Nicklas Cruz, who is the high school shooter in Parkland, Florida.

Zachary Cruz is also listed as the victim in an embezzlement case involving Donovan, Richard Moore and Timothy Shipe.

Those three are accused of stealing over $400,000 that Cruz received from a life insurance policy after his mother died.

That trial was supposed to start last week but was postponed until August.
