VERONA, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A former executive with Nexus Services has lost his appeal and will remain in prison for the time being.

Richard Moore, 47, of Fishersville, filed a response Monday in federal court to overturn a recent ruling that denied his release from prison.

However, a US District Court Judge in Charlottesville granted the government motion for detention.

In his ruling, Judge Joel Hoppe ruled that Moore violated the terms and conditions of pretrial release and revoked his bond.

Moore was set to be released from Middle River Regional Jail earlier this month but that was denied after previously sealed warrants for his arrest were issued.
