HARRISONBURG, Va – (Rocktown Now) It is 15 years in prison for the man charged in connection with a shooting in Harrisonburg back in 2022.
According to online records, Tyreaf Isaiah Fleming pleaded guilty to four charges including attempted first-degree murder, during a hearing Monday morning in Rockingham County Circuit Court.
A judge then sentenced the 21-year-old Fleming to 55 years in prison with 40 of those years suspended.
It was in connection to an incident where shots were fired into a crowd at an outdoor gathering on Devon Lane shortly before 2:30 in the morning of October 16th of 2022.
Eight people were hospitalized following the violence.
