HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – Extended winter bus hours begin next week in the City of Harrisonburg.

Beginning Monday, December 15th, the Department of Public Transportation says bus routes in the city will run from 6:30am to 9:30pm Monday through Saturday each week through January 17th.

Route 1 will also arrive every 30 minutes during the same period of extended hours.

Bus service will not be available however on Sundays, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day.
