HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Eunoia Theatre will present Show Them Who You Are: A Cabaret in Celebration of Women’s History Month on Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. at Clementine Cafe in downtown Harrisonburg.
The event will feature an evening of music and storytelling honoring influential women throughout history. All proceeds from the performance will benefit First Step: A Response to Domestic Violence.
Now in its second year at Clementine Cafe, the cabaret will highlight the stories of notable women across time, combining live performances with historical narratives. The program will take audiences from Tudor England to the golden age of Hollywood and beyond, spotlighting figures such as traveler Isabella Bird, scientist Rosalind Franklin and entertainer and civil rights activist Josephine Baker.
The evening will include music from artists such as Beyoncé, Ingrid Michaelson and Shaina Taub, performed by local performers as part of the tribute.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at clementinecafe.com or at the door on the night of the performance.
