Eugene Ervin Lam, 77, a resident of Mt. Clinton, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at his home.
Mr. Lam was born on April 19, 1946 and was a son of the late Clark Wilson and Ione Rooney Huffman Lam. He worked as a welder for Silver Lake Welding and retired from Top Bead Welding. He was proud of the work he did on the I-81 project. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On September 3, 1971, he married Sarah Jean Good Lam who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children, Mary Green of Bridgewater, Ernest Lam of Mt. Clinton, Pamela Heinze and husband James Jr., of Port Republic, Lori Morris and husband Jeremy of Elkton; sister, Patsy McDorman and her daughter Denise Tate of Minnesota; grandchildren, Jesse Green, Patrick Green, James Heinze III, Amanda Heinze, Alexus Heinze, Lauren Loker, Allison Morris, Jeremiah Morris; and a sister-in-law, Carol Lam.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lam was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Lam; and brother-in-law, Carroll McDorman.
