HARRISONBURG, Va. (EMU Athletics) – Bellamy Immanuel has been named Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Men’s Runner of the Week for the week of Oct. 7-14, per a release from the conference office Tuesday morning. It is Immanuel’s third time receiving this award in the 2024 season.

Immanuel, a senior from Allentown, Pa., won the men’s 8k at the Lancer Pink Invitational in Farmville, Va., on Friday, Oct. 11. Immanuel completed the course in a time of 25:43.1, 36 seconds ahead of the runner-up. The meet included runners from Division I schools Longwood and Hampton. Immanuel currently sits eighth in the ODAC for the 8k with his time of 25:26.7 at the CNU XC Invitational on Friday, Sept. 13.

The EMU Cross Country team will complete the regular season portion of their schedule this Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Roanoke XC Invitational held at Green Hill Park in Salem, Va. The meet gets underway with the women’s 6k at 10:30 a.m., followed by the men’s 8k at 11:30 a.m.
