HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Four area college and university presidents will provide an in-depth update on their educational institutions at a Presidential Address event at Eastern Mennonite University this week.

The event begins at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, in Martin Chapel, located on the top floor of EMU’s Seminary Building, 1181 Smith Ave., Harrisonburg. Tickets to the event are sold out, though members of the press are invited to attend.

EMU President Dr. Susan Schultz Huxman, James Madison University Interim President Charlie King, Bridgewater College President Dr. David Bushman, and Blue Ridge Community College President Dr. John Downey are slated to speak at the event.

Huxman is the 2025 chair of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber hosts the annual event.
